Christine A. (Olkowski) Stoudt Christine A. Stoudt, 73, passed away at home on Sunday April 28, 2024 following an extended battle with cancer. Born in Trenton, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude (Ulmer) Olkowski. She first lived in Trenton, N.J. and then was a longtime resident of Bucks County, PA. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree and Masters degree from Trenton State College in Trenton, N.J.. She then spent her career teaching special education in Bristol Twp. School District for 34 years. She was very active in the Bristol Township Education Association, spending many years as a building representative and also many years as the sick leave bank administrator. She earned the respect of both students and colleagues during her time in the district. Christine enjoyed reading, doing hand embroidery, sewing and attending plays and concerts. She was also a staunch supporter of women’s rights and animal rights organizations. She also self proclaimed to be an accomplished pianist. Chris was an outstanding baker, as well. Her Christmas cookies were legendary. But, she especially, enjoyed traveling every summer in her RV with her husband and dogs. They crossed the United States 20 times, including driving to Alaska. Her dogs brought her much joy and she loved them dearly. She is survived by her beloved husband, Donald B. Stoudt, of Langhorne, PA. Also her beloved sister, Diane Kale, of Robbinsville, N.J. and her mother in law, Beverly Stoudt. She will be sadly missed by her family, whom she deeply loved. She will also be missed by her families at Right at Home and Gentiva Hospice who all cared for her with love. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope for Animals, National Parks Conservation Association or, of course, the American Cancer Society are appreciated. A celebration of Chris’s life will be held Wednesday May 8 at Faust Funeral Home Inc. 902 Bellevue Ave. in Hulmeville, PA. Friends are invited to call from 10:00 – 11:30, with her life celebration at 11:30. All are invited to Bella Tori at the Mansion following the service. |
