Denise J. Malampy

Denise J. Malampy passed away peacefully at her home in Philadelphia on July 2, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on May 31, 1951, she was the beloved daughter of the late Dorothy (née Murphy) and Edward Malampy.

Denise spent many years working in the darkroom for PECO and later in ticket sales at Eden’s. She was known for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and quiet strength. Denise was always ready to lend a hand and had a deep love for animals, welcoming many into her care over the years.

In addition to her parents, Denise was preceded in death by her sister Joann Blofstein. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings Geraldine Kuehn, Edward Malampy III, and Michael Malampy, as well as her cherished nieces and nephews: Dawn Souchuck, Michelle Blofstein, Bryon Blofstein, Hanna Malampy, Jaime Kuehn Deck, Kelly Kuehn, and Robert Neyra.

Denise’s memory will be forever carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
