Robert “Bob” T. Santhouse, a beloved resident of West Bristol, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2023 at the age of 91. Bob was born on January 11, 1932, in Totowa, New Jersey, to the late Harry and Ann (Teevan) Santhouse. On August 22, 2003 Robert married the love of his life, June Calvert in Bristol Boro. Together they shared a beautiful journey filled with love, companionship and cherished memories. They spent 36 years together and would have celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this coming August. Following graduation in 1949 Bob served in the U.S. Navy from 1949-1953. After dedicating four years of service to the U.S. Military, he attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where he obtained a degree in Engineering and later pursued a degree in teaching from Temple University. He dedicated 30 years to teaching Science in the Pennsbury School District from which he retired. Bob will forever be remembered and deeply missed by his devoted wife, June Calvert, of West Bristol. He is also survived by his five loving children and one step-son: son’s Robert (Arlene) Santhouse of Hammonton, NJ, Daniel (Paula) Santhouse of Pennsauken, NJ, daughter’s Claire (Brian) Cote of Ware, MA, Bethany (John) Mascione of Levittown, PA, Kathleen (Jeff) of Portsmouth, VA and step-son Bill (Sherry) Calvert of Langhorne, PA. Robert’s legacy also lives on through his eight grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchilren, and one step great-grandchild. During this time of mourning, the Santhouse/Calvert family’s finds solace in the memories they shared with Bob. He will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. In accordance with Bob’s wishes, a private funeral service and internment at North Cedar Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA will be held for the family at a later date.
