I met Art a few years ago at the Pinewood Pool, he was funny & a joy to be around. It saddens me that I won't see him there anymore. Art, you will be sorely missed.

I was saddened to hear of Art's passing. He would always send me emails and I had wondered why they stopped. I met him at Pinewood pool. He always made me laugh. Gave me baked goods and garden veggies. I knew he was sick from what he told me in the last of his emails. He was the Mayor of Pinewood and got to know everyone. He showed me pics of him as a teen. He gave me a recipe for baked squash. Although it has been 2 yrs since I saw him in person. We kept up with each other thru email. Heaven just gained a great person.

I met Art at Christ Methodist Church. I was new with 2 grandchildren in tow. Art decided we needed a tour of the church, helped the children to get settled and had me sit with he and Barbara. Art and Barbara were so welcoming.

Art was well known by many at Pinewood. He often would sit on both sides of the pool socializing with everyone and giving out his tomatoes, offering advice on gardening, keeping us updated on the grandkids and Miss Barbara whom he always spoke lovingly and said helped him through rough days when it came in Vietnam and later his illness. He was always willing to go above and beyond to help others, in including bringing a lawnmower to my house. I will miss seeing his white truck with the Vietnam license tags. Rest in peace Dear Friend. We will not forget you.

Art was truly the mayor of the Pinewood pool. He covered all corners; he was the peacemaker and entertainer. Summer at the pool will be a lesser experience without him. We are sorry for your loss.

I'm hoping I have the right Kevin Golden. I went to school with Kevin at Pennsbury and graduated with him in 1984. Kevin is a great guy. I'm so sorry for your loss. Sending my heartfelt condolences. ? ??
