Well, I don't even know where to begin, other than Carl was a very kind, giving and thoughtful guy. We have been neighbors for 27 years, and friends for about the last 8. He would always tell me what a great friend I was to him, but he was for me as well. He also loved my boys. He always offered us his homemade soups, stews and seafood when he cooked. He had a strong connection with my youngest son and would take him to Wawa and buy him a hoagie or over to the Whitman Pharmacy for Asher's Chocolates. But now, my youngest is driving and would help Carl in times of need. The last couple of years, Carl was fighting demons, and although we will miss him terribly, we hope he is at peace. May his memory be a blessing.
