Leo John Foronda of Levittown, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 9, 2026, he was 79 years old. Born in the Philippines on December 17, 1946, after obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree, Leo worked for many years in the Printing Industry. He is the former Mayor of San Antonio, Zambales, Philippines. One of Leo’s greatest joys in life was being able to cook delicious meals for his family. He took pride in being able to take care of his family and financially support relatives still living in the Philippines. Leo also enjoyed playing at the racetrack and playing table games, such as Mahjong.  He loved to share stories from his life and the different things he had experienced, as well as talking about politics.

Leo was predeceased by his son Leo Foronda.  He will be deeply and truly missed by his wife of 53 years Ma Anita Foronda and their children Leo John Foronda, Jr. and his wife Nieva, Mary Anne Allen and her husband Jerico Allen, daughter-in-law Sheryl Foronda and “adopted son” Marvin Torres. Along with his beloved grandchildren Leo Gabriel, Leo Jr., Chelsea Mae, Leo Sebastian, Mary Antonette, Ayesha Marie, Mary Angelica, Jeremy Carle, and step-grandson Jude Anthony, and beloved great-granddaughter Cassandra Leise.  He will also be missed by his siblings Leticia Foronda, Laarni Bactad and Leo Foronda and his wife Evelyn.  Along with many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
