Sadly and very suddenly, Mrs. Rita Gay Wolfinger passed on to glory on February 28, 2026, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania with her daughters by her side. She was 89 years old.  Born at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Philadelphia, PA on August 3, 1936, to the late Helen (nee Daniel) Batinsky and Stephen Batinsky and was the granddaughter of the late Anastasia and Anthony Batinsky.  She was the loving wife of the late John Paul Wolfinger and predeceased by her daughter-in-law Alice Wolfinger. Rita is survived by her loving children Jacqueline Rita Wolfinger- Schauer (Charles), Carolyn Katherine, and John David.  Along with nephew Edward Kerns and neices, Kathleen Coughlin and Madeline Lipka.  She will also be missed by her step-granddaughter Briana Jenkins-Wolfinger and family friend Rebecca Craig.

Rita was a homemaker, devoted to raising her children, instilling good values and loving the Lord.  She was a good woman who chose to live a humble and charitable life. She was kind and very generous in giving to others through the church and other organizations. Her memory and life lessons will live on, and she will be deeply missed until we meet her again.

Relatives and friends are invited on Monday, March 16, 2026, to Faust Funeral Home Inc. 902 Bellevue Ave, Hulmeville, PA 19047 from 9am until 10:30am. Rita’s Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am at St. Ephrem Church 5400 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020 followed by burial at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery Langhorne, PA.  Memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of your choice.
