With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, father, fiancé, nephew, cousin, friend, William R. Fox, III, who was taken from us too soon on June 21, 2024, at the age of 51 years old. He brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his kind heart, radiant smile, and dedication to his loved ones. Though his time with us was not nearly long enough, the depth of love and happiness he shared will forever remain in our hearts.
Loved and missed by parents, M. Elaine Fox (Reardon) and W. A. Fox, daughter Kera Lynn Fox, beloved fiancée Nicole Renson, sister Debbie Fox-Valdez (Michael), step-children, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Bill was a beacon of unwavering friendship and kindness. He has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Bill loved with his whole heart and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends above all else. He was known by many names, Billy, Doc, Momma’s Little Buddy, Shorty, Sparky, Fonzie, Bilbo, Willy Willy, Junior, Scruffy looking nurf herder, and sasquatch just to name a few.
Bill spent many years working as a security officer before earning his Massage Therapy license with a specialty in feet and shoulders. Bill proudly served as a volunteer fireman during his life, and most recently was the caregiver to his mother.
Bill enjoyed grilling out any time of year and made many delicious meals on his grill. Bill was known to be a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and avid gamer who loved movies, with a particular interest in both the horror and sci fi genres. Bill also enjoyed all kinds of music and dancing, listening to an eclectic playlist daily. In-person gatherings, or playing games over many miles, Bill always prioritized spending time with his family and friends. Bill found the beauty in life’s simple moments and encouraged us all to do the same.
Bill also loved riding motorcycles and belonged to local motorcycle clubs. He attended many monster mania events with his fiancee and cousin, meeting Robert Englund aka Freddie Kruger was one of his personal favorite moments. Bill loved cosplay and would participate in various events as his favorite characters. Bill also was an incredible mimic, able to do so many voices and sounds with his specialty being speaking Klingon and imitating Chewie the Wookie. Bill walked through life with a gentle strength, touching the lives of everyone he encountered with an unforgettable dedication to his loved ones. A pillar of strength and a beacon of love, his absence leaves a void in our hearts.
Relatives and friends are invited on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 7pm to 8pm at Faust Funeral Home Inc. 902 Bellevue Ave. Hulmeville, PA 19047, with a service to follow at 8pm. Interment Private. Memorial Contributions may be made to The American Heart Association or the American Diabetic Association.
