William R. Hansberry “Bill” passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home in Bensalem on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, he was 73 years old. Born to the late Roger and Catherine (nee Niederkorn) Hansberry in Philadelphia, upon graduating High School Bill joined the United States Air Force. He worked for many years as a District Manger for many local restaurants. Bill was an all around good person, he was funny, caring and hardworking. He was an amazing dad and husband, and truly loved getting to be “Pop” to his grandchildren. Bill enjoyed playing Golf, bowling or cheering on his Philadelphia sports teams. He was a devoted animal lover and loved all things neon color, especially clothing.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of almost 50 years Claudia (nee Lathrop) Hansberry and their children Jennifer (Jason) Baker, William J. (Lisa) Hansberry, and Kimberly (Michael) Skladanoski. Also by his cherished grandchildren Thaddeus Baker, William Hansberry, Ryan Hansberry, Patrick Hansberry, Kayla Skladanoski, Declan Hansberry, Connor Hansberry, Adelyn Skladanoski, and Hailey Hansberry. He will also be missed by his sisters Kerry (Michael) Mavromates and Victoria (Gregg) Denham.
Relatives and friends are invited Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Faust Funeral Home Inc. 902 Bellevue Ave, Hulmeville, PA 19047 with a service to follow at 12:30pm. Interment Washington Crossing National Cemetery Newtown, PA.
