August 6, 1956 - July 21, 2026
Burial Date August 1, 2026
Debbie Strang (nee Stout) left this world for the next surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, after a courageous battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer. She was 69 years old. Born in Trenton, NJ on August 6, 1956, to the late Fred and Sue Stout. She was the oldest of their 5 children. Debbie worked for many years at Forest Incentives until her retirement in April 2025.
Debbie was one of the most selfless and giving people you could ever want to meet. She was always willing to jump in and lend a hand to anyone who needed her. Never wanting to be the center of attention but always involved. She loved to make people laugh and loved nothing more than when her house was full of fun and laughter. Always authentically herself with her bright tie dye and fun socks. She loved to create and make new memories and spent many nights at the lake.
Always after the best deals, she loved to go thrift shopping and to yard sales. If there was a “free” table, you knew exactly where to find her. She enjoyed sneaking off to the casino to play a few slots, watching gameshows and her beloved Phillies. But nothing was more important to her than her grandchildren who lovingly called her Gammy. She adored them and loved to be around them whenever she could. She was very hands on and enjoyed attending their dance classes, baseball games and loving and supporting them through every milestone. One of her favorite things was Gammy sleepovers which involved games, movies and endless snacks. She enjoyed taking them to Sesame Place, Pinewood pool, and to the movies along with too many daily adventures to list.
She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of over 40 years Jeff Strang and their children Jeffery Strang, Chris Strang, Sara Faust-Strang, Emily Carney and Tom Carney. Along with her 6 deeply loved grandchildren Hailey, Abby, Jonah, Sammy, Selah Strang and Rowan Carney. Also, by her siblings Ricky Stout (Shay), Thomas Stout (Cornelia), Evan Stout, Lori Stout (Jacques Mulder), sister-in-law Robin Stout and many cherished nieces and nephews. Also, by her beloved dog Gizmo and the “adopted” kids and grandkids she picked up along the way.
The family would like to thank Trinity Hospice for taking amazing care of our wife and mom during her last days and all those who showed us love and support over the past few months.
Relatives and friends are invited Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Faust Funeral Home, Inc. 902 Bellevue Ave. Hulmeville, PA 19047 from 1pm to 3pm with a service to follow at 3pm. Interment will be private. The family requests all those who attend please wear tie dye, bright colors and fun socks just as Debbie would have wanted. Please no black or dress clothes.
