Edward D. Statchuk of Levittown passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 3, 2024, he was 78. Born to the late Lawrence and Stella (nee Kucynski) Statchuk, Edward worked as an Electrician for 42 years for Union 98. He was a hard worker who always took care of his family, he was their own personal handyman, and loved parties and family gatherings. Edward was wildly creative, always drawing, creating blueprints, and using his green thumb on his beloved yard and garden. He had a wonderful sense of humor, always playing games and silly jokes with his grandchildren. Ever the outdoorsman Edward also enjoyed hunting and fishing. But above all he loved his family and his home.
Along with his parents, Edward was predeceased by his brother Lawrence Statchuk, Jr and sisters Irene Statchuk and Marlene Zador. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 52 years, whom he has loved for over 60 years Christina (nee Soboloski) Statchuk and their children Edward D. (Amy) Statchuk, Jr. and Nicole (Cassie) Statchuk. Also by his beloved grandchildren Conner, Jakie, and Gracie.  He will also be missed by his sister-in-law Joanne (Bob) Lanard and brothers-in-law Victor (Peggy) Kobialka and Walter Soboloski and many nieces and nephews.  A special thanks to Edward’s nieces Stephanie, Lisa and Jessica for their constant care.
Relatives and friends are invited on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Faust Funeral Home Inc. 902 Bellevue Ave. Hulmeville, PA 19047.  Where friends will be received from 9:30am until service time at 11:30am.  Interment will be private.
