Emma Pauline (nee Gilmore) Coffie, 74 of Bensalem passed away peacefully on March 26, 2018 at Abington Health Care Center in Warminster, PA.

Before her retirement Emma worked in dietary for the state of Pennsylvania. In her younger years Emma was a drum major in high school, enjoyed bowling, and playing softball.Along with a love of cooking she was also an avid reader enjoying mysteries and biographies.Her love of music was always felt as she had music, especially R&B music, playing throughout her house. Emma worked hard at everything she did, she was a single mother who would do anything for her beloved children.

Emma was preceded in death by her loving parents Lucinda Thompson Gilmore and William Gilmore and beloved sister Otelia G. Brackett. Emma is survived by two daughters Kimberly Archelle Johnson and Anjanette D. Taylor (Mangram), grandchildren Arshelle Taylor Johnson and Aaron Reginald Mangram; sons-in-law Gregory J. Johnson and Reginald Mangram, siblings; Ethel Ragland (husband Raymond), William F. Gilmore, Mary Gilmore Jones and Charles Gilmore Sr. (Anne), and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
