Eric J. Eggert, of Hellertown, Pa, passed away on August 5th, 2026, he was 67. Born in Abington, Pa, he was the son of Curtis Eggert and the late Violet J. (Nee Marshall) Eggert.

 Growing up, he was involved in many sports, but hockey was his favorite. He was a fan of all Philadelphia sports teams and enjoyed watching the games with his children. He served in the United States Army. Eric then settled in Allentown, Pa, and raised his two children with Judith (Kratzer). He had many hobbies that he thrived at including cooking, woodwork, horticulture, and fishing.

 Along with his mother he is predeceased by his brother, Marc G. Eggert of South Whitehall Township, PA. He will be missed by his father Curtis Eggert and his children Allison E. and her husband Zachary Long of East Norriton, PA and Joshua Eggert of Whitehall, PA. Along with his brothers Kurt Eggert and Troy Eggert, and many nieces and nephews.

Interment will be private.
