Gabrielle (Gabbie) Dunmyer Detora is survived by her children, Lucas and Isabelle; and sibling J.B. Dunmyer.  She was preceded in death by her mother and father Carolyn and Bruce Dunmyer.  Gabbie passed away peacefully on July 11, 2023, she was 53 years old.

Gabbie was born on August 5, 1969 in Baltimore, MD. She graduated from Kennedy Western University in 2005, earning a MBA in Marketing.

Gabbie was a healthcare marketing strategist with nearly two decades of executive experience in the healthcare industry. She owned her own successful consulting firm, Detora Consulting, that worked with many healthcare companies. In addition, Gabbie would often speak at national healthcare conferences and was often quoted in several healthcare articles.

Before she obtained her successful career, Gabbie loved to act, sing, and dance. She was apart of many theatrical plays in high school and after graduation. Gabbie recently started music lessons again and had planned to try out for some local plays in the area.

Above everything though, the most important to Gabbie was her family and friends, especially her children. She loved spending time with Lucas and Isabelle the most!

Gabbie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of Gabbie’s life is scheduled on Saturday July 29th at Faust Funeral Home, Inc.: 902 Bellevue Ave, Hulmeville, PA 19047 There will be a public viewing from 2pm to 3pm, then memorial service 3pm to 3:30pm, then final view 3:30pm to 4pm.
