George H. Logan, Jr. a lifelong resident of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2026. He was 82 years old. Born in Philadelphia on June 27, 1944, to the late Mary (nee Bonugli) and George H. Logan, Sr., George was a proud Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army. After his Honorable Discharge, George worked for many years as an Auto Mechanic for Mike’s Auto Hospital and AAA.
George enjoyed the simple things in life, he enjoyed watching classic movies and television like All in the Family, MASH, and the Honeymooners. He also enjoyed going to the Flea Markets with his sister Katherine every Saturday and his weekly Monday night dinner with his friend Vince. Above all George enjoyed spending time and making memories with his family. He was the most selfless person you could ever meet and would have done anything for anybody. He had a heart of helping others and will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family and friends.
Along with his parents George was predeceased by his beloved wife Sandra Logan, siblings Mary Mundy, Thomas Pratt, Joseph E. Logan, Rosemary Thorougood, and stepchildren Louis and Susan Altman. He will be deeply missed by his siblings Samuel H.J. Logan of Norristown, Katherine Murray of New Jersey, and Viola Shields of Lancaster. Along with many cherished nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 2pm to King David Memorial Park 3594 Bristol Rd. Bensalem, PA 19020 for George’s graveside services.
