John F. Good, Jr., passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, October 25, 2026. He was 84 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late Anna M. (Nee Lawrence) and John F. Good, Sr., on January 19, 1942, John was a proud veteran of the United States Army. After being honorably discharged from the Army, John attended college and went on to earn his master’s degree. He was a middle and high school teacher, teaching industrial arts with the Pennsbury School District from 1970 until his retirement in 2002.
A passionate and enthusiastic person, John was always busy with a new home improvement project. He enjoyed restoring old cars, learning about military history, especially naval history, and watching classic movies. John had a deep love for animals, especially his cats Annie and Murphy. Above all, John was devoted to his beloved wife Kathleen and their children.
Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his brother Ronald Good. He will be deeply missed by his wife Kathleen M. (nee Frank) and their children Dawn J. Schofield and John F. Good, as well as John’s siblings Philip Good (Maggie) and Joanne Billmers (Robert), sisters-in-law Jeanne Good and Marianne Frank, along with several beloved nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 6pm until 8pm at Faust Funeral Home, Inc. 902 Bellevue Ave. Hulmeville, PA 19047 for John’s viewing. Followed on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 11:30am until 12:30pm at Our Lady of Grace Church 225 Bellevue Ave. Penndel, PA 19047 with John’s Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 12:30pm. Interment afterward at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
