John Martin Komada, Sr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at St. Mary Medical Center, he was 87. Born at home in Philadelphia on November 11, 1935 to the late Adam and Hannah Komada, after high school John joined and proudly served in the United States Army. John then worked for many years as a wire worker and welder for the company his grandfather started John Komada and Company until his retirement. John enjoyed owning Cadillacs, summer vacations in Wildwood, NJ and spending time with his beloved family.

John was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary Veronica Komada, son John Komada, Jr., and daughter-in-law Annette Komada. He will be deeply missed by his son Robert Komada, granddaughter Hannah Hawthorne with her husband Jason and great-grandchildren Ava and Luke Hawthorne. Along with several nieces and nephews.
