John R. Gentry, Sr., passed away peacefully on February 12, 2023 at St. Mary Medical Center, he was 81. Born in Philadelphia to the late Oscar and Margaret Gentry, he worked for many years as the Lead HVAC Mechanic for Temple University. John loved to be outdoors; especially racing, working on cars and golfing. He was also a member of the Antique Car Club.

John will be deeply missed by his children John (Joanne) Gentry, Jr., Kim (Kevin) Levin, and Dawn (Michael) Molelski. Along with his grandchildren Christopher, Brianna, Frankie, Joey, Taylor, Brooke, Michael and two great-grandchildren Michelle and Luka. As well as by his sister Margaret Hesford and her husband John.
