Mary Wilcox ONeil, 95, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 1, 2023 in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. A long-time and active resident of Bucks County, she was born in Philadelphia on September 29, 1927 to Dr. and Mrs. Frederic P. Wilcox.

Mary earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She possessed an unwavering love for reading, gardening, photography, and playing bridge, formally achieving Master Bridge player status. Mary spent countless hours researching her family’s genealogy and belonged to the Daughters of the American Revolution, Washington Crossing chapter.

Mary’s zest for life extended to her love for traveling, which took her to all 50 states and many countries worldwide. England was her favorite destination. Her keen interest in whale watching took her to many locations along the coasts of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
Mary is predeceased by her husband Harry ONeil and daughter Janet Hafer. In addition, Mary was mother to Nancy Green, Mary Ann Barnes, and Frank W. Entwisle and grandmother to Dr. Thomas Hadley, Jenifer Krause, Mark Hadley, Kristie Krause, Lindsay Harner, Melyni Woodbury, Dorie Montferrat, Sara Hadley, and Annie Entwisle. Mary’s love extended to her great grandchildren, including Liam, Nolan, and Malcolm Hadley; Regan and Harry Spangenberg; Cael and Noelle Harner; and Kieran Woodbury.
Additionally, Mary’s legacy lives on through love and memories with Kathy Entwisle, Jackie Entwisle, Doug Spangenberg, Neil Harner, Terrell Woodbury, Mike Green, Dan Montferrat, and Stacia Hadley.
