We were honored to have had Michael be a part of our events over the years. His contribution to the sport of cycling will not be forgotten.

I worked with Mike on several large and some smaller events, and he always had a smile, some jokes, and a get it done attitude. My condolences to his family and all that loved him. I’ll miss him on the event site, and pray he rests in eternal peace.

We went through elementary - high school together. Sat by each other in CCD while your mom taught class. Goofed around while we were working at Roy Rogers. You were one of the good ones. Fly high my friend.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike. He was such a kind soul and always a bright spot in your day. He will truly be missed.

I was shocked to hear of Mike’s passing. I grew up next door to the Monaghan boys and I have so many fond memories of my youth with Mike such as hours of playing Atari, kickball, flashlight tag, playing in our small above ground pool, holiday picnics and so much more! Sending my thoughts and prayers to the Monaghan family during this difficult time.

This is so sad to hear. Although I haven’t seen Mike since HS I have very fond memories of him. He was a very nice person, funny and always kind. I’m so sorry for his family and friends. RIP old friend ??

I am so sad to hear of Mike's passing. I worked with Mike for more years than I can count. He told everyone I was his younger sister (we're not related and I'm 7 years older!) He had a heart of gold and was always helpful! He also loved his family and talked about his nephews & niece all the time. Mike, I will never forget you.
