Susan Field (nee Blank) Groom of Bensalem, passed away peacefully at Vitas Hospice at Nazareth Hospital, on April 26, 2022, she was 82.  Born in Philadelphia, to the late Maitland and Florence Blank, Susan worked for many passionate years as a Registered Nurse for many local nursing homes. She was the most naturally pleasant and kind person you could ever meet.  Susan was always smiling, volunteering, and was always there for anyone who needed her.  Susan loved to read, paint, and listen to music.  She had a strong faith and loved and supported her children and grandchildren in anything they did.  Susan lived for her family.

Susan was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years Richard W. Groom and her sister Joan Goyette.  She will be deeply missed by her children Cynthia (Daniel) Carey and W. Terrence (Diane) Groom.  Along with her dear grandchildren Brittany (Nathan) Thoma, Nicholas (Trish) Carey, Sean (Courtney) Carey, Shannon Carey, Alexis Carey, Corinne Groom and Jacqueline Groom; and her 2 great-grandchildren James and Gwendolyn. Also, by her siblings Nancy (Tom) Sanduski, Linda (Alan) Loss, L. Maitland (Susan) Blank, and brother-in-law Ron Goyette.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 11am Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Faust Funeral Home Inc. 902 Bellevue Ave. Hulmeville, PA 19047.  Where friends will be received from 10am until service at 11am.  Memorial Contributions may be sent to Vitas Hospice at Nazareth Hospital www.vitalscommunityconnection.org
