William Paul Thomas

William Paul Thomas “Bill” of Bensalem, passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 17, 2020, he was 62 years old. Born in Los Angeles, California, Bill was Honorably Discharged from the United States Army after being injured on base.   He worked for many years as a Plant Clearance Officer for the Defense Contract Management Agency.  Bill was instrumental in having a spacesuit donated to the Smithsonian Museum, his name is on the plaque that is displayed with the suit, he also worked to have lasers and other items donated to local community colleges so that students could study engineering.  He was the best at his job and conservatively has saved the United States Government millions of dollars.  Bill was an avid lover of comic books, especially Aquaman, Super Man, and Batman, and loved to read Sci-fi novels.  He also enjoyed going camping and fishing. He loved to grill and Barbeque and made the best ribs. Bill was always very generous, very happy, and always wanted to take care of everyone.  He was always making jokes and known to be a prankster, he was even teasing his caretakers up until the day before he passed away.  Bill loved his family and was the most loving, caring, and devoted husband.

Bill will be truly and deeply missed by his wife Christine Golden Thomas (nee Warner).  Along with his four children Heather Llanes (Eddie), Lucas Thomas, Daniel Thomas, and Rebecca Thomas.  Also by his six grandchildren, brothers David, Rick, and Robert, and his sister Janette.

Services and Internment for Bill will be private at the family’s request.
